If you want to start using open data, or make better use of data, we can help, both directly, and via our extensive network of collaborators, associates and partners.
GODAN
GODAN is the acronym for Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition. GODAN supports the proactive sharing of open data to make information about agriculture and nutrition available, accessible and usable to deal with the urgent challenge of ensuring world food security. It is a rapidly growing group, currently with over 282 partners from national governments, non-governmental, international and private sector organisations that have committed to a joint Statement of Purpose.
Open Data Aha! is one of these GODAN partners, and is helping to plan communications for GODAN’s 2016 Summit. Open Data Aha! is also pleased to help promote the GODAN’s work, as in this recent example from Open Data Camp. The drawing was produced by the excellent team at Drawnalism.

GODAN is holding its Summit on 15-16th September in New York. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn about open data for agriculture and nutrition, and to network with hundreds of organisations.
